Men deserve to look good and feel great with fun and unique products too – it doesn't matter if it's for a special occasion or just for work! Australia-based brand Peggy and Finn knows this quite well.

After identifying a gap in the market for products that scream uniqueness and style, Peggy and Finn came to be. They create products for men that want to stray away from being too formal and well...*cough* boring.

"Life’s a party… dress like it!"

Here we chat to Steph Parsons, one of the founders and creative visionaries of Peggy and Finn, to talk more about how they started, what their inspiration is, and how they keep it sustainable.

In Steph's own words:

"We are Peggy and Finn run by Olly, Jarrod and Steph. We are a small business based in Torquay, Australia. We specialise in original designed accessories for your 9-5 or that special occasion.

We started the business back in 2015 after Olly and Steph got married. Olly was struggling to find something to wear for his wedding and decided with the help of his best man Jarrod to create some wooden bow ties. We had some really positive feedback from the wedding and decided that we would start selling them as a bit of a side hustle. This slowly grew into the business it is today. Our ethos is to design original products for the modern gentleman with a strong focus on sustainability and native prints."

"Our vision is to be the go-to accessories business in Australia. We want to continue to create original designs and products that help you in everyday life and for special occasions to showcase your style.

Our advice to other small businesses? Take everyday as it comes, lean on your friends and family. People love to help and support your passion."

"The favourite part of running a business is getting positive feedback from our customers. We love getting emails and photos from customers' weddings. It’s amazing to see customers wearing our products.

We are always working in house to ensure we deliver our products in the most sustainable way possible. This ethos starts at the beginning with the supplier right through to when our customers receive their order."

"When we first started, each product was individually wrapped in plastic from our supplier. We have worked hard to align with our suppliers and reduce this waste. They now come in bulk. We have also improved how our products are packaged and sent to our customers. We use recycled tissue paper and stickers to wrap our products and send them in compostable mailers from noissue!"

"Our products are all about our unique prints. The tissue paper helps us showcase this with our signature Banana Palm print in our brand colours! We also use the stickers which match the colours of tissue paper and showcase our logo. We love the playfulness of the compostable mailers which sits with our brand voice."

"We chose noissue because we wanted to work with a brand that had the same sustainability values as us. We were impressed by the compostable mailers and their dedication to planting trees with every order."

Peggy and Finn Fun Fact:

"If I could find out one thing about my brand’s future using a crystal ball, it would be when weddings are back in full swing."
